4 Step Video Creation Formula

If you don't know what to say when you're creating videos for your target audience, here is a 4 Step Video Creation Formula that you can use on practically any video platform:

1. Introduce Yourself

You always want to introduce yourself and your website right as you begin your video.  It's a great way for people to know who you are and where they can find  you online.  It's a great way to begin to Brand Yourself Online!

If you've watched any of my videos, you always hear me say, “Hey guys, it's Destrie from DestrieMonis.com.”  It takes about 5 seconds to say, then you can move on to the next step of your video.

2. Ask a Question

Ask a question that hits a pain point for your target audience.

People make a decision to continue watching videos in 8 seconds, on average.  You only have 8 seconds to “Hook” someone into watching your video.  You need to ask a question that hits a button for your target audience.  If you hit their pain point right on the head, they will continue watching and listening to what you have to say because they want a solution to that problem you brought up in your question.

3. Provide Content

This is where your content answers the question you asked your target audience.  Share what they can do to solve the problem to the pain point you brought up.  This part of your video can be as long as it needs to be to address the problem or struggle that your target audience is going through.

4. Call to Action (CTA)

The last step in your video should be a Call to Action.  A call to action or CTA is simply what do you want your prospects to do next? What is the next step for them?

Do you want them to join your newsletter? Do you want them to leave a comment? Do you want them to buy your product? Do you want them to visit your website?

Whatever you decide your call to action to be, just make sure it is relevant to the content that you provide to your target audience and can help them further with the pain point  you brought up in the 2nd step of the 4 Step Video Formula!
